      DUN XIAN Controllable Heat-Transfer Shift Reactor

      In 2025, China's largest shift unit was successfully started up at the Inner Mongolia Baofeng 4 million-ton coal-to-olefins project. This milestone project adopted DUN XIAN's Controllable Heat-Transfer Shift technology, marking another significant achievement in the coal chemical industry.

      Nanjing Dunxian Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech private enterprise founded by Mr. Wang Qingxin in 2009. The company is primarily engaged in the research, development, and promotion of reactors and process packages for applications such as CO shift reactor, ammonia synthesis, methanation reactor, methanol reactor, and DME reactor. DUN XIAN holds nearly 30 patented technologies. Among them is the Controllable Heat-Transfer Shift process and its supporting water heat transfer isothermal reactors, which are patented and suitable for CO shift conditions. These technologies have been successfully implemented in nearly 118 sets of operating units and have achieved excellent results in practice. The company now holds a leading international position in this field, with a domestic market share of over 80% for isothermal shift technologies. DUN XIAN is also the only domestic supplier to provide shift technology and patented equipment to overseas companies such as Air Products (USA).

      As the sole domestic supplier of patented equipment, the company participated in the national 13th Five-Year Plan key research and development project: New Technologies for Synthesis Gas (or Pyrolysis Gas) Methanation, and achieved a major breakthrough. The company has also developed a new type of composite axial uniform-temperature reactor specifically for copper-based shift applications and has designed corresponding specialized process flows for various CO concentrations. Anhui Juyuan Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nanjing Dunxian Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., holds pressure vessel design and manufacturing qualifications and is responsible for the fabrication of patented equipment developed by Dunxian Chemical and Dunxian Environmental. It ensures both manufacturing quality and project delivery timelines.
